The Giles County Republican Committee will host its 7th Annual Stafford-Morris Dinner on Friday, April 12, 2019, in Pearisburg, Virginia. The event is expected to bring together 100 Republican leaders, activists, and candidates from across Southwest Virginia and all around the Commonwealth. This year, the Committee is excited to welcome former Virginia Governor George Allen as the keynote speaker! Celebrating his 25th Anniversary of his Gubernatorial Inauguration, the Committee could not be more proud to welcome the 67th Governor to Pearisburg! The event takes place each spring.

Named after former Delegate Jeff Stafford and former Giles GOP Chairman Howard Morris, the dinner provides the Giles GOP with an opportunity to launch its election operations for the upcoming election. In its five years, the event has hosted numerous statewide candidates. Its keynote speakers have included former Governor Bob McDonnell, former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, Congressman Morgan Griffith, Virginia State Senator Mark Obenshain, and former Virginia Attorney General Jerry Kilgore.
